I-I think he's sick...
[When Teddie pops onto the feed, he can't help but look and sound concerned. There's a horrible, wailing screeching noise in the background, but thankfully it's not so loud that Teddie needs to shout. He doesn't leave whatever is making that sound a mystery for very long, the feed pans over to Cho - his beartic - who seems to have her arms outstretched as she holds a very flaily cubchoo.
At least...it's almost a cubchoo. Although it doesn't stay still for more than half a second, it's not hard to see that it has the most horrifying face. Lacking any sort of nose, the usual cubchoo goo appears to be coming out of its...mouth. Cho's giant paws seem to be doing a good job keeping the thing contained, there isn't a scratch on her. Her expression, however, is pretty grim. There's something wrong with this poor baby and she doesn't know what.]
I dunno what to do! But...Cho-chan won't let 'em go until he gets all better.
And he keeps getting angrier.
[In fact the thing was pretty calm at first, which would explain how they were able to sneak up on it. Seriously, Teddie's heart raced when he saw a cubchoo in Goldenrod, only to face utter heartbreak when the creature turned around. If he wasn't so worried about the animal's health, he'd be sobbing in a corner right about now.]
I wanna take him to the doctor, but-
[Before Teddie can finish, the screeching finally reaches levels of unbearable and the creature manages to flail just hard enough to slip out of Cho's grip. Without warning, it goes straight for Teddie, all on camera for everyone to see. The 'gear drops from his hands, the picture nothing but darkness as the camera finds itself facing the ground. All anyone gets is a panicked child's screams.]
G-GAAAHHH! NOOOO! IT'S... IT'S GUMMING ME!
[Gross.]

I can keep you company with your icy friend. (She winks at the ice bear.) What do you like to do for fun?

[He could go on forever if he wanted to, but by some miracle something in his head tells him to stop.]
