[Ken figures he'll be in the suit, because the suit seems to be the default. Anyway, it doesn't take him long to arrive at all, so Ken will be knocking on Teddie's door in about twenty minutes!]
[O-kay? What was that supposed to mean? Teddie stared at the text, puzzled, wondering if Ken was implying he was ever not presentable. Hasn't he seen him? His fur? It's fabulous!
And it is, in fact, that same fabulousness that greets Ken at the door. Teddie, suit and all, leans against the door frame in a weird attempt to act casual. This is how the cool kids do it, he's seen it on TV and therefore it can't be wrong.]
[He's trying so hard. Ken's first thought is "that's so weird" but he doesn't say it, not even showing it on his face as he himself stands pretty casually, too. At least, he looks it; he keeps his right hand in his coat pocket leans his weight on the same leg, left hand hanging loosely at his side. In truth his hand is injured and he's trying to keep it from moving around, but Teddie doesn't have to know that. Or know that he's usually a lot less tired looking, but that's besides the point today. Today, they're having lunch.]
It's nice to see you, Kuma-san. Are you ready to go?
[Teddie responds with an enthusiastic arm pump, still just as oblivious as always. He really does believe Ken wants to be a pal and take him out for lunch for absolutely no reason.]
Ha! I was born ready!
[And with that said, he begins to march out the door, right past...Ken. Despite the fact that he has no idea where to go.]
Opposite direction, Kuma-san! We're gonna cross at the next streetlight.
[These sorts of people march on ahead without thinking much. That's fine. Ken's used to that. He'll trot after Teddie without a single bad comment or thought.]
