Info: Peck-chan was the result of Teddie being told he should have at least six pokemon. Not wanting to somehow fail this unspoken standard, he rushed outside as fast as he could and caught the first thing he saw. In this case, he was in Ecruteak and caught this murkrow. That turned out to be a...very poor idea as the unruly bird proved to be more of a handful than even Rosa. No amount of Play Nice or Thunderpunches kept the bird at bay for long, and she eventually grew a terrible habit of pecking her trainer constantly, hence the name. Strange enough, her terrible behavior absolutely outraged Teddie's pancham, who tried her best to prove to the crow that SHE was the baddest on the team, but always fell short thanks to Peck-chan's flying-type moves.
As terrible as his short time with Peck-chan was, her stay proved to be very useful. Determined, Rosa pushed herself as hard as she could to become stronger and eventually used Peck's dark-type to her advantage as the final key to her evolving. Her newfound strength was enough to control the bird, but Teddie felt awful keeping her in an environment she clearly hated. As such, Peck-chan was released and Teddie learned to only catch pokemon he knew he wanted. Live and learn.
